Today, I made the maiden voyage on the new sled.  I really like it!  It takes the bumps like nobody's business.  It is in it's break in period, so it smokes and consumes oil.  Break in period is around 300 miles or 2 tank fulls of gas.  Here are two pictures of it out on the trail today:

Another suggestion is if you want better protection from the wind and cold, the flared high "sport" windshield works well.  I have it on my '14 XRS with 7" tall Fly Racing riser and bars don't hit the windshield at all.

Great looking color combo

Thanks!  I have taller wind shield that I got when I picked the sled up.  I really don't feel the cold with my gear set up.  I may change my mind after the trails are groomed, but running around 45 MPH, I didn't feel it.  The front cowl does a great job of deflecting the air up and around me.

I do like this year's color combination.  Last year's orange didn't do it for me.

I don't like the silver on the 2016 X-RS. I would have went with the all black X-RS myself. Not knocking your sled. I am glad you are enjoying it. Color preference is personal preference but to me the silver is hideous as was the Ronald McDonsld colors in 2015. That is why we got a 2015 all black Renegade X-RS. Looking forward to what Doo has to offer for '17.

In my opinion, the best Ski-Doo color/design/performance ever, was this (this is not my sled or picture; although I wish it was):

Black and yellow w/B&W checker stripe.  It doesn't get any better.
